The Fairfax County School Board approved new secondary course offerings for the 2025-26 school year at its meeting on November 14.

Seven FCPS bands will perform at the Virginia Music Educators Association Conference, which will be held November 21-23 in Norfolk.

November is Native American Heritage Month. A Wakefield Forest Elementary teacher is sharing his cultural upbringing as a member of the Haudenosaunee’s Bear Clan with students through lessons on drums, dreamcatchers and the role of Native Americans in rocket science.
