Welcome Our New Assistant Principal, Mrs. Briana Odom!

Mrs. Briana Odom is a proud product of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), having attended Keene Mill Elementary School, Washington Irving Middle School, and West Springfield High School. Following high school, she pursued higher education at a small private school in North Carolina for two and a half years before transferring to Radford University, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education.

A devoted mother, Mrs. Odom has a twelve-year-old son, Fabian, who will be a seventh grader at Liberty Middle School in the fall. Recently married to Curtis on Cinco de Mayo, she has welcomed a bonus daughter, Alexis, who will be a sixth grader at a middle school in Stafford County.

When not immersed in her role as an educator, Mrs. Odom enjoys quality time with family and friends, shopping, exercising, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. Her son, Fabian, who possesses an intellectual disability, has shown remarkable resilience and has a heart of gold. His challenges have instilled in her a deep sense of gratitude and purpose. Being Fabian's mother is her greatest joy. Mrs. Odom is eager to join the GBW community and meet the wonderful families within it.
