Dear Families,

On behalf of the Greenbriar West PTA, we would like to extend a warm welcome to incoming  kindergarten students and families. Our school motto is: Pride in School, Pride in Performance.  We are proud to be a community of dedicated parents, teachers, and administrators working  together to make GBW one of the best schools in Fairfax County. 

We have high expectations at GBW, and those expectations are met or exceeded when we have a strong PTA supporting the school community. Research demonstrates that when parents are involved in their children’s education, their grades are higher, test scores improve, attendance increases, and children demonstrate better social skills and behavior. 

The GBW PTA is greatly involved in the support, resources, and programs it provides to our teaching staff and our students.  Some of the ways the PTA has contributed to GBW include funding buses for field trips, providing teachers with supplies for their classrooms, organizing fun community events like Movie Night, bringing in enriching after-school clubs, and more! 

We hope that you will join us as a PTA member next year and become a part of this school’s community.  We are excited that your family will join us next year!
